3 Minutes: Su Tiempo Sejong S Theater Oct. 8-15

Ballerina Kim Joo-won’s sold-out 2019 tango performance, “3 Minutes: Su Tiempo,” will return this fall. The performance, which has found the perfect balance between ballet and tango, will be led by musical director and Korea’s leading bandoneonist Koh Sang-ji. Also joining the stage is singer and musical singer Lim Jeonghee. Audience will be able to enjoy Kim’s melodrama that portrays a couple from their fateful encounter to their farewell with passionate melodies and choreography.

Swan Lake Seoul, Jeonju, Yeosu Until Oct. 16

The great classic ballet, “Swan Lake,” has unfolded this fall. Presented by the Korean National Ballet, the performance will show off from pas de deux to fouette turns to tell the romantic story originally composed by Tchaikovsky, with an alternative happy ending. “Swan Lake,” which commenced at Jeonju’s Sori Arts Center in North Jeolla Province at the start of September, will be followed by performances at Yeosu’s Yeulmaru Art Center in South Jeolla Province on Sept. 23 and at the Seoul Arts Center on Oct. 12.
