Stage in Sejong: Sejongsillak

Fusion band Pungryu will be performing “Sejongsillak” with the Sejong Symphony Orchestra to bring harmony between “gugak” (Korean traditional music) and orchestral music. Pungryu, founded in 2009, has collaborated with artists in diverse musical fields to make the centuries-old sounds fashionable. At the upcoming show, 12 songs featuring traditional and string instruments, “salmunori” (Korean percussion quartet) and modern poems will be performed.
